Corporate Transactional Paralegal For Hire – 5920
Candidate is a NALA Certified Corporate Transactional Paralegal with Bachelor’s Degree and a Paralegal Degree and four years of experience supporting an in-house Chief Legal Officer for a multi-state employer. She has gained valuable experience in her current position (after a career change) and has been promoted from Executive Assistant ultimately to her current position as Senior Paralegal & Director of Employee Dialogue. Her success in this role has been directly related to her abilities to be detail oriented, to anticipate the needs of her attorney and to work independently without supervision and/or with limited instruction and because of her excellent written and communication skills.
On a daily basis, she deals with and maintains information of the most sensitive nature, including employment issues, equity, entity creation, corporate governance, document production for litigation, company equity structure, preparation and filing of UCC-1 and UCC-3 forms, annual report filings in 50+ jurisdictions, FCC regulatory filings, supporting the Board of Directors (i.e., minutes, board meetings, etc.) internal investigations and assisting with the company’s policies and procedures manuals.
Although she has worked independently much of the time, she values the ability to collaborate with other legal team members on less sensitive matters. We believe that with her combination of paralegal experience in corporate, employment, and transactional matters and certification credential makes her an excellent candidate for any in-house position. Computer skills include advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Westlaw and Practical Law Company for legal research and other SaaS applications including Jobvite, Newton, ADP Workforce, Netdocs, V-Rooms, Sugar CRM, ThinkHR and typing speed averaging 60-65 wpm.
